Our clients have told us that having a video made was one of their best decisions.  A wedding video lets you relive the wedding day and all the emotions that go with it.  There will be many moments captured that you don’t even remember or didn’t even see at all during the whirlwind of events that make up your wedding day.  Think about it.  Wouldn’t you love to have a video of your parent’s wedding?  Your grandparents’?  A professional wedding video is a keepsake that not only you will cherish, but it will be prized by future generations as well.

CAN I JUST HAVE A FRIEND OR RELATIVE VIDEOTAPE MY WEDDING?

Of course, but unless your friend uses  high-end video cameras, tri-pods, and microphones, you will get a badly lit, off-colored, shaky video with poor sound.  We get plenty of calls from dismayed newlyweds hoping we can do something to fix their amateur videos.  Unfortunately, not much can be done to salvage them.  Why not let your friends and family members relax and enjoy the day with you, and leave the video-making to the professionals.

SHOULD A VIDEO COST AS MUCH AS PHOTOS?

Typically, videos cost as much or more than still photographs.  Both still pictures and your video will become cherished keepsakes, but it will be your video that really lets you relive the sights and sounds of your wonderful day – all the happy emotions, the music, and the personalities of your family and guests.  A wedding video, properly created, will be a joy to you.  One that is made by an amateur or a low-end Videographer will only showcase their lack of proper equipment and experience.  Our wedding videos not only represent our talent, but also our investment in time and equipment. If you want a video that you will truly enjoy forever, you need a video company that is serious about their art, and is committed to serving their customers. A video company with these qualities will have prices that reflect this commitment.

WON'T THE VIDEOGRAPHER BE A DISTRACTION AT THE WEDDING?

The comment we hear most often is "I didn't even know you were there!"

Part of being good at what we do is keeping a low profile while still getting great shots of your special day. There is no additional lighting used at the ceremony. The reception sometimes requires the use of small on-camera lights, but our state-of-the-art camcorders require very little light to get a good image.

It takes many hours and a lot of care to craft the raw video and sound recordings of your wedding into a finished product that you will enjoy watching for the rest of your life. We strive to have your video ready within six to eight weeks of your wedding day. Sometimes it takes a little longer, but the results are ALWAYS worth the wait.

We are excited to be able to offer this option. Since we use only high-resolution digital cameras and editing equipment, a lot of quality is lost when transferring your digital master to a VHS tape. DVD lets you experience the same great sound and picture quality we see and hear back at our studio. Also, a DVD will not degrade with multiple playings as a tape will.   DVDs also have chapter stops that let you instantly switch to different parts of your wedding day. If you choose to have a highlight video, it will also be included on the DVD.

That depends on what happens at your unique event and what options you pick. Most VTec wedding videos run about 45 - 75 minutes. We also offer optional highlight videos that run about 5 to 7 minutes. Many couples watch their highlight videos throughout the year, especially with friends and family and save the full-length video for special occasions.  Your VTec cameraperson will arrive early to your ceremony so that a true assessment of camera and microphone placement can be made.

Wedding videos can range from just a few hundred to several thousand dollars. VTec Wedding Videos start at less than $1000. We have yet to see anyone produce a video for less than we do that you would want to watch more than once, or be proud to show your family and friends.
